Vice President Inonge Wina says Zambia appreciates the long standing relation with the European Union because it is based on shared common values of good governance, rule of law and preservation of peace.
She said Zambia considers the European Union as a mutual partner in development.
The Vice President said this during a bilateral meeting with the European Union Head of delegation in Ethiopia, Ranieri Sabatucci.

The African Union selected Mrs. Wina to convene the High Level meeting of African Women occupying the most senior positions in Government, Parliament and the Private sector because Mrs. Wina was the most senior African Woman among the three on the continent currently occupying the office of vice President .
