Human Resource and Administration

The Human Resource and Administration Department is responsible for human and material resources.  The department is also responsible for provision of administrative and logistical support services to ensure effective performance and operations of the OVP.

The department also facilitates the administration of Honours and Awards to deserving individuals.  In addition, the Department is also responsible for developing, monitoring and reviewing institutional policies and legislation to ensure effective implementation of programmes.

The Human Resource and Administration department is headed by a Director who is assisted by Assistant Director – HRA, Head Procurement, Media Liaison Officer and Principal Internal Auditor.

The department is responsible for the objective to efficiently and effectively manage the human resources to ensure effective organization and individual performance as well as provide administrative and logistical support services.

Function

The main function of Human Resource and Administration department is to effectively and efficiently provide logistical support to all departments, manage the utilization of resources, develop and facilitate effective human resources data base in to facilitate effective operations of the OVP.

  • Human Resources Development;
  • Internal Audit;
  • Media; and
  • Procurement and Supplies.
