Resettlement Land Application Guideline

This land application does not constitute an offer of land and/or a promise for land allocation or any other interests in land in the Resettlement scheme. An application for Land is Not the Same as Land Allocation. Each application will undergo a rigorous review process. Please note that applying does not guarantee land allocation. All applications will be subject to a thorough review process. It is important to note that every shortlisted applicant will undergo an interview as part of the evaluation process. Therefore, ensure you are prepared to attend the interview when scheduled.

The application is NOT Free. Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable fee of K50 for the application form. Payment can be made through the bank or via mobile money using the link provided in the application form. Kindly choose mobile money option to use that option. Do NOT deposit cash at the bank if you intend to use mobile money.

Ensure that you have made the necessary payment to avoid any processing delays, if depositing through the bank. The Resettlement Division will not be held liable for any applications not submitted due to non-payment of prescribed fees.

If your application is successful, you are made aware that the land provided under the resettlement scheme is NOT FOR SALE, AND CANNOT BE SUBDIVIDED, LEASED, OR CONSOLIDATED without the approval of the office subject to applicable laws and policies. Land in Resettlement Schemes is allocated strictly for the intended purposes as per the scheme’s regulations. Note that the resettlement scheme is specifically designed for targeted citizens as provided for in the Resettlement Policy. Only those who meet the specified criteria are eligible to apply. Applications submitted after the closing date will not be accepted. Ensure your application is submitted on time to be considered.
